There really is nothing quite like family- I love, love,LOVE all the people in my life; but the happiness I endure when I'm simply at home with the beau and babe is a force to reckon with. We really didn't do much- just enjoyed being able to goof off around the house and pretend that everything was back to normal.
Today we were lucky enough to enjoy one last pizza slice at our favorite joint, Angelo's, with Aunt Erin, Uncle Pancakes and Conor. Although Audrey... and Daddy.... wound up with some cranky ants in their pants; we had our usual family fun time together. So hard to believe that casual get-togethers like that are about to be so far and few between. We came home and took a lovely family nap- then it was suddenly time to pack Daddy up again so he can hike back to St. Louis bright and early in the morning :-/ At least this time, he'll be moving into our short-term apartment and out of the hotel.....who wants to live in a hotel? Nobody... Nobody ever.
With Audrey down, Rob and I decided tonight was a perfect night to see how good of a movie 'Draft Day' is and relish in all the 'Cleveland-ness' we get from it!

Overwhelmed Happiness
He's back! He's Back!! He's really back!!! What an ultra fabulous day :) A and I were bouncing off the walls from the minute we woke up today; we only had time for breakfast, her morning nap (if you could even call it a nap today) and our daily hike, until our man graced us with his presence! I swear, when Auds saw him- she thought he was fake. Oh, A's first legit Tannehill jersey came today too! Now she can match her hero, Daddy, for the opener next weekend!
Since he has been home, she keeps darting corners and double checking to make sure he hasn't left again- and heaven forbid the poor guy close a door behind him and she can't see him-- she bursts into tears! It's actually really precious.
I'll tell ya, this whole 'single parent/long term relationship' ordeal is no joke- and absolutely no fun. The last 2 weeks have quite literally been lived by a schedule- we eat, we nap, we walk, we eat, we nap, we eat, we bathe, we sleep-and play in between- over and over and over again. Half the time, I forget what day it is, and occasionally I'm shocked when it's already dinner time. Only a handful of folk out there can truly understand just how much more thankful and appreciative I am of this husband of mine. CRAZY kudos to all the single parents out there who do it daily! I thought he was the bee's knees for the past 5 years, and it's taken a whole new definition this last month.
Cleveland, I loved you; as I loved Buffalo before, but I am crazy excited to start our new life/journey to St. Louis and fall in love with that city as well :)

Oh Goodness
I apologize for skipping yesterday- but -holy moly- was I ever exhausted! Audrey had such a horrendous night Tuesday to Wednesday. Up straight from 11pm-almost 4am; then back up at 7:13am....screaming, screaming, screaming.... By far, our worst night alone together. So, I made an appointment and headed over to the pediatrician- only to walk in and have my daughter start smiling ear to ear and giggling?! What gives? Our Doctor is a male and I have this theory that she just needed a man to present for a couple minutes. We were sent home with a gift of Infant Advil which last 8 hours- Mommy and Baby had a lovely night of 'catch up sleep'.
We also had a showing last night that we are hoping went fantastic! I took Auds on a 'mommy daughter date' to Panera where she fell in love with their mac-n-cheese, naturally. It was actually a really nice time-- would've been better had I not been deliriously tired :-/
Today we had a fun day with Conor and Cece!! We haven't had a day like this since March? April? Regardless, it was great to catch up and watch the kids crawl/walk over one another.
ANDDDDDD the best news- today is here, which means tomorrow is sooooooo close and let me tell you, us ladies are absolutely itching to have our man back in our lives! At approximately 2:30pm- following our mid-day hike, we'll be reunited!!! Cross your fingers for no delays :)

1/2 Birthday Baby Boom
What a day!!! I'm pretty sure Audrey and I experienced every emotion today. Let's start at the beginning......
We woke up, obviously stoked that it was my 1/2 birthday and we were going to spend it at Museum Noel--WRONG! Mommy pulled a 'rookie mistake' and didn't check the hours until this morning (a glance made on accident if I might add) only to discover that until November, the museum is only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tell me- what is the point of a 'year round Christmas museum'-if not to enjoy it at any time I want--YEAR ROUND. For heaven's sake. That moment was followed by noticing little A has 2 more teeth on the way--and her attitude reflected them for the remainder of the day. My poor babes is in quite the pain and I really can't do much but love her :(
Next up- we went on our walk...in 86 degree weather. OH.MY.WORD. I may have failed to mention in previous posts that the last 1/2 mile is entirely up hill- and entirely 'un-fun'. But on the bright side- it was a much needed and appreciated sweaty workout :)
We got home to find that Audrey's new Dolphins gear arrived- yay!! Daddy is going to be so excited to stat teaching her about the difference between 'Offsides,', 'False start' and 'Encroachment'....because there is a difference, right? They all result in a 5 yard penalty- so...yeah...
Finally the evening got here and the most exciting part of our day took place- Aunt Alessa came by to play! By play, I mean she arrived 4 minutes prior to bath/bedtime; but Audrey was thrilled to see her- as was Mommy :) We got to catch up on all our gossip and giggle like school girls- much needed! Before we knew it, it was 10pm and far past my bedtime.
For the best news of all-- 3- yes, THREE- beautiful babies graced the earth today! I'm so excited for my friends- who are bound to be great parents (and remain great parents for one couple). I've got to say- the next best thing to being born on 2/26- is being born 6 months later!! Good job babies! Congrats to Kelly & Scotty Winzenread on baby Olivia; Andrea &Keith Bryan on baby Brooklyn; and the ever-so-healthy Mom and Dad, Courtney & Aaron Bell on baby Landon! We couldn't be happier for all of you!
....Oh yes, Rob is still alive and enjoying St. Louis :-P

*If you look closely- you'll see the lid to her cup on the left,
and the large puddle of water underneath her.
So proud she learned a new trick...not *
*Thanks Aunt Erin for the diaper covers- so nice on hot days!!*

Cancelled Monday
Yup, Audrey and I took it upon ourselves to 'cancel today'. Any and all scheduled plans for postponed so we could have a leisure day of not needing to shower by a certain time, no necessity to blow dry my hair, and no reason to work up a sweat in a desperate attempt to get out of the house on time----and we loved every single second of it!! We took a nice morning nap, had a lovely breakfast of eggs and blueberry pancakes, took our usual walk- but also stopped to play in the creek a little bit, hand crafted a 'one-of-a-kind' onesie for Audrey's first Wedding, and of course, we increased Audrey's toy bundle (of course!)
We are pretty stoked to celebrate my half birthday tomorrow- yes, you read that right... I am 29(and half) and I love nothing more than a good half Birthday! We are celebrating with a trip to the Museum Noel in Medina- it is an entire museum devoted to the greatness that is Christmas! And if you know me, like- really know me, then you are fully aware of how crazy excited I am!!!
Rob had a fine day- nothing too crazy or exciting to report- except that he will be home in only FOUR DAYS!!! His girls couldn't be more excited to each grab a nook and not move for 72 hours :)

Just a quickie!
Due to my over-exhaustion; this will just be a little quickie tonight. We had a great time in Chagrin Falls today- I absolutely love it there; it will probably be on the high end of my 'miss most about Cleveland' list. Unfortunately, Audrey skipped her morning nap and wasn't her usual delightful self (Seriously- naps are SUCH a necessity in life... oh my word).
Rob called with great news- not only is our new apartment within 10 minutes of the outlets in St Louis/Chesterfield---but they put our current Outlets to shame! WOO HOO, can't wait to waste some mega dollars!!

Care for a Klondike Bar?
That's right everyone--my Uncle Mike is in town!! He and Aunt Patty made the journey out here for a Saturday slumber party with us :) A and I woke up bright and early to put some elbow grease into the house for our showing (fingers crossed), then we hit up a fantastic Garage Sale nearby and relaxed in the pool until they made their way over.
Once they got here, we treated them to a scenic 4 mile walk in our favorite park! We got to enjoy some quality family time, nibbled on Chinese and I am now SO EXCITED to be introducing them to the greatness that is 'Pitch Perfect'! Acca-awesome!(Ashley P- literally watching our 'jam sesh' this instant!!)
I think we're going to venture out to Chagrin Falls tomorrow for some fun, shopping and popcorn!
Rob had his fantasy draft today- sadly with all of his upcoming and recent travel, he wasn't able to play with his boys in Chicago- but he feels pretty confident in his team! He just about killed me when he sent me a picture of the temp....see below... and shoot me...
