Today certainly was
NOT the best of days - boo. Audrey had a rough night, every time she woke up screaming, I swear she was incredibly let down to find me walk thru her bedroom door again and not Daddy. It's OK baby- I'm let down every morning to find I'm holding a pillow, and not Daddy :( We went about the hot
HOT day as usual- taking our sweaty 4 mile hike, indulging in a delicious picnic, goofing around...... then-as we were gearing up for bed- BOOM! Power goes out. Luckily it was a neighborhood ordeal and we weren't singled out- but you know what is more difficult than playing a single parent right now? Playing a single parent and performing bath and bedtime in the dark - double boo. We made it through the day though, and what is they say? We're only stronger for it? Sure....
Robert scampered off to a different hotel tonight- one with a much wider variety of TV channels-WOO HOO! He also submitted all the paperwork and deposits for our soon to be 'home' (apartment) AND he booked his flight home to see us Labor Day weekend. All-in-all, a great day for him :) Lucky for all of you- he sent me a picture of his Big new 'Boss-man' Office. Pretty awesome, Nerd!
